COVID-19 PANDEMIC update and practice modifications

Dear valued client,


I am back to serve you and optimize your health!  We have implemented safety procedures to keep you safe.  


Attending an appointment:

Please limit the number of people that come to the visit to yourself.  One caregiver can accompany a child being treated.  Everyone will be prescreened prior to coming to the clinic.  


Screening questions:

MORE than 10 days following the start of the symptoms below AND until you are feeling better and your symptoms end, whichever is LONGER: 

Fever or Chills

Cough (new cough or worsening chronic cough)

Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing (new or worsening)

Runny or Stuffy nose

Sore throat or Painful swallowing


Muscle or joint aches

Feeling unwell in general, or new fatigue or severe exhaustion

Gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or unexplained loss of appetite)

Loss of sense of smell or taste

Conjunctivitis, commonly known as pink eye 

NO travel in the past 2 weeks.

NO exposure to any person who has travelled outside of Canada in the past 2 weeks.  

NO exposure to any person with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19 in the past 2 weeks. 

NO exposure to biological material with COVID-19 in the past 2 weeks.

NEGATIVE test if previously COVID positive.

When you arrive:

Please click on the website address below in red and complete the COVID survey just before entering the clinic for your appointment.  The QR code is also available at our entrance.  Click here for attached instructions.

Your temperature will be measured. The clinic has been sanitized and social distancing will be observed. Upon entering, you will have to use hand sanitizer.   PLEASE BRING AND WEAR A MASK.  Do not be surprised if I wear a mask, gloves, gown and goggles/face shield as a precaution.  


The treatment room has been sanitized.  After you leave, anything that you have contacted will be cleaned. 


Your health and safety is our priority.

For those uncomfortable with COVID, appointments are still available by telephone or “virtual” care appointments (FaceTime, Zoom) as scheduled.  You can call my office at (403) 233-9333 or email me at to arrange an appointment.  Without acupuncture, we can still connect and carry on to optimize your health!  I can still assess and provide care for you.  We can discuss diet/lifestyle/acupressure interventions.  Even if you are feeling on track but want reassurance, that is an option.
